AMEND, officially the Association for the Mentally Disabled (Regd. Under: Karnataka Societies Act. 1980), began in 1992 when families in Bangalore, overwhelmed by the emotional weight of mental illness, came together seeking understanding, strength, and hope.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Over the years, AMEND has evolved into a supportive community that nurtures emotional well-being, shared learning and collective resilience. Through monthly meetings, guidance, advocacy and connection, we empower families and PwMIs to heal, grow and rediscover dignity and confidence.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
